The limestone front porch is lit at night by original light fixtures, showing off the limestone columns and railings. Prior owners were in the process of tearing down the porch when the Tuckers purchased the home. As a result, the Tuckers asked the city of Columbia’s Historic Commission to name the porch as a protected architectural feature of the home.
